Rose Room
The charming Rose Room has a Cherry four-poster bed and a working fireplace with large windows and lots of morning light. Cozy up to the fireplace in the Queen Ann velvet chair and enjoy the moment.
Monet Room
My personal favorite, the Monet Room, also has a working fireplace, French doors that flood the brass bed with morning light and a wicker seating area. Lots of space to relax and luxuriate in your home away from home. While a Monet poster is prominently displayed, the name is really the color of the room. The Monet room has a bathtub as well as a shower.
Thistle Room
The Thistle Room, named for the water colored block print by the late Mississippi artist, Walter Inglis Anderson, is spacious and comfortable with its four poster iron bed and separate seating area. The loveseat folds out to a single bed, so this room is particularly attractive for a 3rd person in your party.
Stratton Room
The cozy Stratton Room boasts a sumptuous Oak queen size bed and a full newly remodeled bath complete with tub. The walls are hung with ink drawings from my travels and oriental rugs.
Rates & Policies
While each room is unique, our rates are standard for each room at $160.00 per night based on double occupancy. Reservations are required and on-line reservations gratefully acknowledged and will be secured by a credit card. Should you need to cancel with fewer than 10 days notice a cancellation fee may apply equal to one night's stay. Please note that on holidays, holiday weeks, foliage, & special events, higher rates or highest yearly rate may prevail. A single rate is not available during peak weekends or special events.
-Children 12 years & over are welcome but except for the Thistle Room, Harrington House has limited ability to accommodate families. Please call with your particular situation.
-Please be aware there is a dog, Daniel (assistant innkeeper) and a cat, Charly, on the premises. We will entertain the inclusion of smallish, well behaved dogs upon request for an additional fee. Please call for details.
-State sales tax of 6% and Pike County Room tax of 3% are additional.
-We adhere to a 2-night minimum on Saturdays in season, holidays, and special events.
-We are not financially responsible for refunds or credits should "acts of God" occur during your stay.
-We accept major credit cards including VISA, MasterCard, Discover and Diners Club as well as cash and checks.
-Harrington House maintains a non-smoking policy within the Inn but the porch and yard are available.
-Coffee/tea/water service is available 24 hours in the Green Room as well as the refrigerator, office equipment and materials for your reading pleasure.
-We will make every effort to accommodate any special dietary needs as well as special requests. Don't be afraid to ask!!
